Dental Bonding

Are you bothered by teeth that are misshapen, discolored, have gaps or are chipped? Cosmetic dental bonding is among the easiest and least expensive cosmetic dental procedures available. The composite resin used in bonding can be shaped and polished to match your surrounding teeth.

Dental Bonding by Douglas J. Snyder DDS, PC in Elkhart, INMost often, bonding is used to improve the appearance of a discolored or chipped tooth, but it can also be used to close spaces between teeth, make teeth look longer, or even to change the shape or color of your enamel.

Dr. Snyder frequently uses composite bonding for teeth that are:

  • Gapped
  • Chipped
  • Widely spaced
  • Impacted by enamel regularities (such as pitting or localized discoloration)

Simple. Easy. Fast.

Your composite bonding treatment will take just one visit to our office. First, Dr. Snyder will select the appropriate shade of composite that will blend in with your tooth. Then the tooth will be conditioned to facilitate the bonding process.

Next, the bonding is shaped over your tooth so that the tooth appears appropriately sized and shaped. Finally, a bright light cures the bonding into place.
