Precise Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry provides minimally invasive alternative treatment for everything from fillings to cold sores to cosmetics to a snoring remedy.

Laser Dentistry Services by Douglas J. Snyder DDS, PC in Elkhart, INDr. Snyder implements laser dentistry for some dental services. Some of the situations that we provide laser treatments for include:

Soft Tissue Therapy

Do you ever suffer from cold sores or ulcers? Perhaps you are having difficulty controlling bleeding after a surgical procedure? Our soft tissue laser treatments can speed up recovery time, limit discomfort, and get you back to normal health sooner than ever before. Call us as soon as you feel a cold sore popping up!

NightLase: Treatment for Snoring

NightLase reduces the effects of sleep apnea and decreases the amplitude of snoring by means of a gentle, laser-induced tightening effect caused by the contraction of collagen in the oral mucosa tissue.

A full course of NightLase consists of three separate treatment sessions over a six week period. The final results of the treatment have been shown to last up to a year, and the therapy can be repeated.

Dental Procedures

Small composite restorations can sometimes be completed with our hard tissue lasers. Hard tissue laser treatments limit the amount of drilling that is required during conventional filling procedures.

Smoothlase: Cosmetic Laser Dentistry

Smoothlase laser service is a cosmetic dental procedure that removes wrinkles from the cheeks, lips, and below the nose. It is a series of intramuscular laser treatments that relax the fine lines and wrinkles seen around your mouth. The process starts with 4 treatments, plus an additional treatment for every decade past the age of 50.
